About the role
- We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead development initiatives while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications and software solutions.
- Build responsive, user-friendly frontend interfaces and robust backend services.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
- Work with databases, optimize queries, and ensure data integrity and security.
- Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
- Review code, mentor junior developers, and promote high coding standards.
- Identify and resolve bugs, performance bottlenecks, and production issues.
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Implement automated testing, debugging, and quality assurance processes.
- Manage deployments, troubleshoot production issues, and improve application reliability.
- Evaluate new technologies and recommend improvements to the development architecture.
- Participate in technical planning, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong experience developing and maintaining production-ready web applications.
- Solid understanding of software architecture, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
- Experience with frontend and backend development, database management, API integration, and application security.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and deliver reliable solutions.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and technical problem-solving skills.
Preferred skills
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frameworks such as React and Next.js.
- Experience building backend services using Node.js and frameworks such as Express.js.
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs, authentication, authorization, and third-party integrations.
- Experience with databases such as MongoDB or PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment platforms such as Vercel or AWS.
- Understanding of responsive design, web performance optimization, SEO, and accessibility.
- Experience writing unit and integration tests.
- Ability to mentor developers, review code, and make sound architectural decisions.
